A R Rahman, the musical genius of the country who faced irate fans during his UK concert recently when they walked out of the venue due to his singing in Tamil, has finally opened up about the whole episode and it’s so touching from his side. Rahman said that he always tried to be honest and our best under all circumstances. It may be recalled that the music maestro had been trolled on social media for the debacle.
Here is what Rahman has to say on the issue:
“I love the way people have supported me for all these years. Without them, I am nothing. I am grateful to all of them. We always try our best. We try to be honest.”
However, Rahman was very happy about his performance at IIFA Rocks and praised the band:
“I think it (IIFA Rocks) went well. We were terrified because it was raining but the band was very courageous and so were the singers. The audience enjoyed the concert.”
So touching, no?
