Sitaram Panchal, the Bollywood actor who had worked with superstar Akshay Kumar in Jolly LLB 2 and with Irrfan Khan in Paan Singh Tomar, passed away this morning due to lung cancer. Reports suggest that he complained of breathlessness this morning and was rushed to the hospital. but doctors could not save him and he was declared dead around 7.45 in the morning. He was suffering from cancer for the last three years and preferred to be treated by his Ayurveda doctors rather than allopathic.
He had been ill for quite some time now and even his wife Uma had spoken about his bad health some time ago, “He stopped eating completely last year as his stomach would hurt all the time. He was constantly vomiting and is extremely weak. He now weighs only 30 kg. Since acting was his only source of income, he worked between September-October last year when he was slightly better with medication, and shot for small roles in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Raag Desh and Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB 2. But the treatment has aggravated his diabetes, which led to him losing his voice.”
